ES policy on promoting other activities
ES would like to support many Christian activities. However, because it would be impractical and imprudent to endorse every proposed activity, the Executive Committee has agreed to the following framework and principles in determining on a case-by-case basis which activities we will promote.
1. It is the responsibility of the Executive Committee to decide which activities should be promoted at ES, and any requests for promotion should be directed to the Executive Committee
2. The primary consideration is whether or not an activity is aligned with the ES Doctrinal Basis and ES's 3 core objectives for North Terrace Campuses of:
- personal faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord
- personal growth in godliness
- personal witness at home and abroad
3. Any activities that clash with ES activities will not be promoted
4. The means and method by which an activity is promoted will be considered, including:
- announcements at The Bible Talks
- brochures available at The Bible Talks information table
- group emails
- website
- noticeboard in ES room
- note: we will promote only ES-led activities in The Bible Talks’ handouts
5. The degree to which an activity affects and is open to whole of ES is an important consideration; however personal news concerning ES members can be promoted if appropriate
